186 Main Street Hackettstown, NJ 07840

One morning, We, The New Jersey Breakfast Tour, found ourselves aimlessly driving through Hackettestown searching for a place to have breakfast. What we stumbled upon was a fantastic discovery that went by the name of "Stella G's".

Steve's Review:

Banana Stuffed French Toast w/
crème fraiche
Stella G's is a very special diamond in the rough, that is dishing out reasonably priced, consistently delicious, gourmet food, in a small, cozy, intimate "country cafe" atmosphere.

Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict
Their catch phase is "Gourmet foods made with loving hands" and that couldn't be more accurate. It's apparent from ordering here for the first time that the food isn't just thrown on a plate and sent out to your table, a little extra love and care goes into each and every dish served here. We've been back here several times now, and every time I go, I am impressed with the quality of food and preparation. There is a good reason for that, proprietors, Chef Bruno and Maureen have a ton of experience, judging by the bio on their website. Basically, to sum it up, he's an acclaimed gourmet chef and she's a pastry chef, Together they form a dynamic duo that is the heart and soul of Stella G's. First off, you can't go wrong with any of the baked goods here, From the diversified list of scones, to the crumb cake, muffins and turnovers, They are all baked from scratch on the premises. Also keep your eyes out for their specials, for they serve wonderful seasonal specials, such as the Pumpkin Pancakes.

Cinnamon Walnut Scone
One thing for sure is, If you go to this place, make sure you save room for dessert or get some baked goods to go. Although NJBT is all about the breakfast, we have been to Stella's for Lunch and Dinner, and it's just as good. When you find yourself in the Hackettestown area and you are searching for a nice little place for breakfast or brunch, stop by Stella G's and give it a try. You'll be glad you did.

  Sc00tz'S Review:

Breakfast Burrito /w Eggs, Avacado,
Montery Jack Cheese & Salsa, with fries

Stella's Serves you gourmet quality food at very reasonable prices in a pleasant atmosphere. Located right in Hackettestown, this hidden gem of a restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make tasty work of them all. I had the breakfast burrito and it was flavorful subtle and delicious. The avocado perfectly balanced and complimented the eggs and the presentation was excellent.

Service was attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant. I can highly recommend Stella's as they seem to take great care in every aspect of the dining experience.
