Potbelly Pancake House & Grill

7 Naughright Road - Hackettstown, NJ, 07840

Potbelly Pancake House serves up a pretty good breakfast. You probably wouldn't expect it, being that it's located in a strip mall with an A&P Supermarket, Right next to a Dollar Mart. However, They serve pretty good pancakes.

Steve's Review:

Pancakes w/ Blueberry Compote

It looks like Pot Belly Pancake House only has one 'type' of pancake, and any variety you ask for comes served as a 'topping', for instance, the blueberry pancakes are served with a warm blueberry compote poured on top and the banana and strawberry pancakes have fresh sliced bananas and strawberries on top, etc., So, if you are hoping to get pancakes with the blueberries cooked inside of the pancakes, you would be disappointed, To me it didn't matter and they were still very tasty pancakes.

Country Omlette w/ Pancakes
The omelettes here are huge, They come out as a big rolled up omlette and if you order one, you better be ready to eat a lot of eggs. This coupled with the fact that you also get pancakes on the side means you aren't going to walk out of here hungry. One thing I want to say about the omlettes is that when you get cheese on it, I wish they took the time to melt the cheese, The cheese is sprinkled on top, other than that, they're not bad. I think it's fair to say that this place is right in the middle as far as food and quality, It's not spectacular or mind-blowing,  but, I think it's a little better than any average diner in the area, at
least it is for breakfast.

The Garden Scramble w/
Blueberry Pancakes
My favorite dish. on the specials menu is The Garden Scramble, which is scrambled eggs with peppers, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms  topped with melted cheddar and hash browns on the side. It also comes with 2 pancakes, so it is alot of food and very filling. As a matter of fact, I believe every egg dish on the menu comes with pancakes on the side.

I've eaten here for breakfast several times and I've never been disappointed the food is consistent and the service is good. In closing,  the next time you're thinking about heading out to Ihop, why not give Potbelly Pancake House & Grill a try? They serve breakfast all day.

Rainman would be happy! Maple
syrup  on the table before the pancakes.
Cheese Omelette with Salsa.
